Business process

Hello everybody,

My client is into entertainment industry.He is different kinds of business.

1.FM Radio

2.Cinema Halls

3.Film Processing

4.Television

5.New Channels/Press

I need to map cinema halls/film processing verticals into SAP.

Business process:

Cinema halls:

We have around 600 screens across the globe. The main processes are 1)On screen Ads 2)Off screen Ads 3)Food and beverages (in cinema halls) 4)Movie ticketing system

Film processing:

In film processing we have

1)Film post production services (Motion picture processing/Digital Lab service/Digital cinema services

2)Production services (Equipment rentals/Film Camera rentals)

3)Creative services (Animation 2D/3D, Stereoscopic 3D conversion)

4)Global Imaging services (Film restoration/Image enhancement/Content processing/3D solutions)

Please advice in this regard.

    in order to get a better understanding, are you asking for multiple module configuration settings? or only SD related mapping?

      1)Film post production services (Motion picture processing/Digital Lab service/Digital cinema services

      3)Creative services (Animation 2D/3D, Stereoscopic 3D conversion)

      4)Global Imaging services (Film restoration/Image enhancement/Content processing/3D solutions)

      For the above Process you can create a service sales order and do billing

      As you are providing the services.

      2)Production services (Equipment rentals/Film Camera rentals)

      *May be you can try creating a RENTAL CONTRACT

      REntal contract and billing as per the required you can create a rental billing monthly.

      All are order related billing only.

    this is a big and interesting post. as you know, creating the blue print is a multi-step process, which goes back and forth (i.e. consultant proposes & feedback from client).

    so let me start - the initial - proposal process 😊

    for this post, the scope is ONLY

    Cinema halls:

    We have around 600 screens across the globe. The main processes are 1)On screen Ads 2)Off screen Ads 3)Food and beverages (in cinema halls) 4)Movie ticketing system

    Org units -

    Creation of sales orgs depending upon country, or regions, or ......

    D channel = Cinema halls (CH)

    Div = Ads (AD) for both On screen and Off screen; Food and bev (FB), Movie ticketing system (MT)

    Sales offices = one for each div., so in total 3

    Processes -

    1)On screen Ads 2)Off screen Ads

    Creation of CMRs

    Customers buy material in TIME (10min, 15min etc.)

    From PO of customer (via phone or email or...)> create S order --> Billing

    NO delivery

    Pricing procedure IMPORTANT, what are the factors, according create PR00, surcharges

    Availability check shall have to be done, during creation of S order; do you have that time slot to sell or is it already sold?

    Account determination according to how you want o set it up

    3)Food and beverages (in cinema halls) & 4)Movie ticketing system

    if i understand this, during the movie people buy them over the counter. So here you can take CASH Sale as your basis.

    You can create bills in a batch process, every night. NOT that important, as customers have paid cash already.

    Availability check and Transfer of requirement important!

    treat them as DIVISION

    You treat following as MATERIAL in Division Cinema halls

    1)On screen Ads

    2)Off screen Ads

    3)Food and beverages (in cinema halls)

    4)Movie ticketing system

    Simiilary for Division Film processing

    1)Film post production services (Motion picture processing/Digital Lab service/Digital cinema services

    2)Production services (Equipment rentals/Film Camera rentals)

    3)Creative services (Animation 2D/3D, Stereoscopic 3D conversion)

    4)Global Imaging services (Film restoration/Image enhancement/Content processing/3D solutions)

    If Film post production services is package

    then you can go for sales Bill of material for Film post production services with Motion picture processing/Digital Lab service/Digital cinema services as sub level item.

    Accordingly, you can go for sales process.

      as mentioned earlier, it is a iterative process. you get our input, then give your input and that shall help us give you more input.
