Recover removed page

Dear experts,

I have a problem with my WebDynpro page in sapportal. The page is removed eventhough we do not give remove permission to the users. Now we need to do recover removed page through system administration everytime the user report. Is there any step for us to resolve this problem for all the users involved? Please guide.

Hi,

There are 2 options to resolve the issue:

1. Go to the page Property Editor - Select the Appearance-Tray category and set the option to NO for Show Remove Option. This is for doing for individual pages.

2. If you want to remove the option for all the pages, you need to do via Multiple Property Replacement in Content Administration.

Steps to follow for multiple property replacement

1. Navigate to Content Administration - Multiple Property Replacement

2. Select the Folder where you have all the iViews for which you want to change the property.

3. Right Click on the folder and select Add folder to list.

4. In the next screen select iViews and Iview Template and Page and Page Templace since these are the two places where we have option to remove the option Show Remove Option.

5. In the next screen select the option " Search objects by Property ID ".

6. In the Property search for this Property ID "com.sap.portal.iview.ShowRemove" and set the new value to NO.

7. The last step is when you click on Finish it will set the value NO to the property Show Remove Option.

Hi Nanie,

I think user had Removed the Webdynpro page using the personalize option, do one thing on your portal page where that, particular iview have been removed you have options like history,back and forward, beside that forward link there will be a options logo click on it then it will show you personalize option click that there you will find the removed iview.Right click on it add that iview to page.

May be "invisible in Navigation Areas" property of that page is set to "YES", change it to "NO".

Hi Nanie,

Your doubt is not very clear for me. I am trying to understand a litle better your situation.

What exacly are you trying to do? If you want add a page for all users, you can just add it inside a role and add this role for all users...
