Hi,

What is the origin of the requirement. If it is a fixed planned order or production order, components will not be reread from master data and requirements will not be changed by MRP. If this is the case, uncheck fixing indicator of the planned order and run MRP, or read PP master data again to the production order.

Check as well if BOM explosion type or special procurement type is maintained in the BOM item of the material. They may overwrite the master data.

Regards.

hi Özgen Canan

thanks for you info but I think that's not the reason since I tested it...and other clues?

Check:

- Did you change the special proc. key to 50, after the demands existed for the material?

- If the setting of special proc. key to 50 was done before any demand loading, then check if the demand is directly loaded for that component (eg: PIR via MD61 or Sales Order demand for that material etc)

- Ensure the material has a valid BOM

If its one of the above it should clarify why you notice the demand.

Check if the explosion type for the item (in BOM) is set as phanthom off or so...
