Hi Swaroop

You mean where to hang the system on a logical component? If a system is

its type of change for example from "development" to "Test", the system

should be included in the appropriate column in the Logical Component.

You know following System Roles were deliveried from SAP.

C Source Systems Development System

E Target Systems Training System

T Target Systems Quality Assurance System

P Production Systems Production System

S Target Systems SAP Reference System

D Single System Demo System

V Single System Evaluation System

The fact is the role "P Production Systems Production System" is delivered only one times.

But you can define other requested roles for the system by your self.

You can create a new System Roles for example as a "Second Prodcutive

System" under the logical component. If you define the new system role

and give the name for example "Second Productive System" Other system can

be assigned in the logical component as "Second Productive system" . If

you synchronize the logical compoente in solman_dierectory. You see new role

will be appeared there.

Hi Volkan,

Yes it is menstion in the logical component .

You means to say to create a new logical component and marked as productive?

But in other logical component that system is menstion as Sand box,so if i create new new logical component and define as marked as productive will it work?

Hi Swaroop,

No I don't mean that

"You means to say to create a new logical component and marked as

productive?

But in other logical component that system is menstion as Sand box,so

if i create new new logical component and define as marked as productive

will it work?"

But it will be worked if you create two logical component.

I mean you can not use the 2 (same <SID>:CLNT) systems as "Productive

system" in one logical componnet. I mean you can assign in the logical

component any other "system roles" under the name for example new name "second productiv

system". In this case you can assign the same system under one logical

component. But I do not know, why do you need the define same system as

productiv system in a solution?

Please don't forget you can assign only one productiv system in logical compoent .

Hi Swaroop,

Yes, you can not use the 2 system as a produciv system under in One Logical Component.

but you create New logical componen under other logical component for example "ZLog2" and

make AB1 as production system. It will be work.

LogComp ZLog1 - AP1 Produktivsystem , -AB1 Sandbox (Testsystem)

LogComp ZLog2 - AB1 Produktivsystem

Please don't forget One logComp can only One "Productive Sysetm" assigenment.

I hope this infromation help you!

Best regards
