HI Experts,
We got a specific requirement that we need to restrict for only negative amounts for a specific wagetype.
Is there any possibity to have this type of wagetype.
System has to accept only negative amounts in the wagetype amount field.It has to restict the positive amounts.
Please share your idea on this specific requirement.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sairam.
Hi Sairam;
In table V_T511 for the relative wagetype...
Minimum amount must be empty
Maximum amount must be 1
In this case you can not enter any value even it is 1 buy you can enter -1 or -555 etc.
But actually why do you want to use that? If it is negative I suppose it is deduction so you should check in table V_T511 deduction WT field. After that you will enter + amount but that amount will be considered as deduction in payroll.

Okan

Hi Okan,,
Thanks for the reply.
we are creating this wagetype for the global employee,whenever employee leaves the origin nation,we want input the origin countries salary as negative amount.By this employee gets only one salry.
This is according to requirement.
I selected add to total in amount box of wagetype charcterstics.
Please share your ideas.

Hi Sairam;
I am not experienced in global employees, but...
I have to ask whether this wage type gross or net. Is there any legal deductions or tax calculation regarding this wage type. Because if there is then you can not use create new wage type as deduction. Because it will deduct net amount.
For example gross amount 1500. net amount of gross is 1000. When you will record 1500 as deduction then it will cause problem. If I record it as -1500 then I have to add it to /101.
So instead of defining wage type as deduction it is right to record it as -xxxx.

Okan
