nwapi add a managed system

Dear ALL

i want to use nwapi application to monitoring pi system, but i face a problem when i execute Configuration Wizard:_NWA Add Managed System_, i had added Managed PI System to SLD, when i execute the Configuration Wizard, at step 9, Select a System to Manage, i entry my second pi system id: pi2, and click next, the problem occuresd. error message is bellow:

error during validation : com.sap.tc.lm.ctc.metamodel.exception.ActionExecuteException: Service execution error; invocation target error when calling method getAllSystemsInSID in class com.sap.tc.lm.ctc.nwa.other.RemoteSystemConfiguration of component sap.com/tclmctcnwaother_ear (error message = java.lang.NullPointerException: )

do you face same problem or you use the some fuction ever, look forward you help ,thanks

Hi Kevin

As per the notes, it is not recommended/supported to use the nwapi for monitoring in PI 7.1x. SAP recommend to use Runtime Workbench for PI monitoring.

I think the nwapi will be available in the new 7.3 release.

1446507 NWAPI link removed from PI start page

The nwapi is not supported in 7.1x releases.

hi mark :

thanks for your response , pi realse is pi7.1 ep1; my nwapi is installed in the pi1, and i can use the nwapi for my pi1(message monitoring ...), but when i add my pi2 to the nwapi for monitoring it , i face the problem.
