      hi

      BW Is nothing but ETL and Reporting TOOL

      ETL means extraction ,transformation and loading

      1). here in this tool it helps in extracting data from different sources like from flat file,SAP R/3,CRM ,SQL, or any other datasources

      2) Transformation means making or matching the source information to target data like you may have technical name of a particular field in source is different and the way the system accepts is different . so in transformation we may remove the barriere to match the data

      3) Loading finally loading is fhe ultimate task from source to target for reporting
