Unable to add standard document type to Control list

Hi,

I'm facing strange message while adding sales document type (DR - "DR - Debit Memo Req. RRB") to control list in application level SD0A

Information message - "Document type DR specified does not exist (input help -> F4)". But infact this is the standard document type and it exits in the system. I'm not sure why i'm getting this message.

Also i received the similar message for

IN - Inquiry

QT - Quotation

Menu path

IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Foreign Trade/Customs -> SAP Global Trade Services - Plug-In -> Control Data for Transfer to SAP Global Trade Services -> Configure Control Settings for Document Transfer

Could anyone explain this

    Hi Pradeep,

    It's a "language" issue. Some Document Types have translated codes, and the ones you mention are amongst them. Try entering 'L2' instead of 'DR', and I think you'll see what happens. As the message says, if you choose the entries from the Search Help list, there's no problem.
