Dear Expert,

How can I make the reminder activate in IT0019.

I have an employee who will end his probation next month. I need SAP to remind me that I need to follow up his administration document.

How can I set the task reminder activate and how does it activate and what does it actually do?

Hi ,

Infotype 0019 only stores dates, it doesnt have any logic to send mails. there is a report where you can monitor the dates: Personnel Management --> Administration --> HR MAster Data --> Info System --> Reports --> Employee --> Date Monitoring, if you need mails to be sent, you should write a fairly simple abap program that reads this infotype and sens mails accordngly, you then schedule it to run daily

You could create infotype 0019 with dynamic actions within an action execution, based on infotype 0016 conditios for example

IT0019 doesn't automatically generate tasks as standard.

The standard report for checking the outstanding tasks is S_PH0_48000450 (Human Resources > Personnel Management > Info System > Reports > Employee - Date Monitoring), and vaiants can be set up to run this regularly. Alternatively some people have written custom programs to run daily to identify any relevant tasks and send automatic reminders.

Finally, if you have implemented MSS then the manager will receive a reminder in the Reminder of Dates list (but not their UWL).

you can either give a report for the enduser to run and report monthly/weekly

can complete their task or trigger an emails (This might required some ABAP development)
