BIC MD X2E error

Hi All,

I have created one mapping in BIC MD using EDI structure XML,followed the process and created the EDI XML,E2X and X2E mappings.but while testing X2E mapping, the UNB.UNH.UNT:0074[0] & UNB.UNZ:0036[0] are not getting auto filled by BIC.While testing the mapping in BIC MD its giving error "Mandatory Field UNB.UNH.UNT:0074[0] not filled - replace with defaultvalue".

Please look into this and help me to resolve this issue.

Hi,

In the BIC mapping tool, please check the mapping for the fields : UNB.UNH.UNT:0074[0] & UNB.UNZ:0036[0].

For UNB.UNH.UNT:0074[0], seems that no value is coming in the file. Check in the mapping if a default value is specified for this field.

Yes, there is no value provided in the EDI xml file, as these values should get filled by BIC on runtime as these are the no of messages and segments.

I have created one mapping in the same way for other EDI, and its working fine.

Both these fileds are mandatory.

Please help me on this.

Have you used the count function for this? Please check in the mapping tool test tab if this is working for u.

In PI mapping I didnt use any count function for these, I have mapped these 2 to the blank constants.Its not giving error in MM test tab, while testing end to end its failing in receiver channel.
