RFC between 7.01 & 6.40 do not work if password has !"u00A7$%&/()=...

Hello,

at our SolMan we have one older satellite system with NW6.40.

We changed the password policy to complex passwords.

login/min_password_digits ssm_SSM_01 = 1

login/min_password_letters ssm_SSM_01 = 1

login/min_password_lowercase ssm_SSM_01 = 1

login/min_password_uppercase ssm_SSM_01 = 1

login/min_password_specials = 1

But now the NW6.40 system could not connect with old password.

So we add a new password for the user in SM_SSMCLNT100_BACK destination.

The NW6.40 do not connect with a new password. Is there a problem in NW6.40?

Has someone any suggestion?
