How to add a popup menu to a form

Hi,

I need to place a MenuItem into a PopupMenu of a form, which is shown everytime I use the form.

I just placed a menu to a blank form, but when I change the content of the Form Items e.g. setting the CardCode or switching between different record of this form, the added menuitem will vanish into thin air.

I don't know why this effect occur. I hope anybody is able to help me, because I am despair of it.

Hi Sebastian, i already answered your other post regarding Menu handling, please refer to it to get more tips on how you can overcome your problem.

Take a look to the sample program "AddMenuItems" to understand better how this should be done.

    Best regards,

    Felipe

The way how to add a menuitem is well known, the specific problem is, that a menuitem, which was added to the "Jump-Menu" only exist on the blank form, which SBO shows after opened it over the Mainmenu.

The MenuItem seems to be removed after changing the Formcontent or clicking the record navigation buttons in the toolbar.

(I cant see the menuitem in the Application - Object, too)
