Applying "" via SDM

I obtained the above fix to the portal relating to an RFC problem. When I applied it, I got the following message

Deployment started Tue Feb 22 16:19:16 GMT 2005

Starting Deployment of

Finished with warnings: development

component ''/''/'SAP

Caught exception during application startup from SAP J2EE Engine's

deploy service:

java.rmi.RemoteException: Error occurred while starting application and wait. Reason: Clusterwide

execption: server ID 8802950:Cannot bind "SAPFactory" MCF.

(message ID:

Deployment of finished with Warning

(Duration 6359 ms)

Deployment ended Tue Feb 22 16:19:23 GMT 2005

I am assuming this isn't good as I have been told by the developers that we cannot connect to R/3 at all now.

1. What is SAPFactory, and where can I find it.

2. Has anyone seen this before?

Any help gratefully received.

    Hi Paul,

version data will always help on requests like that...

The SAPFactory is basically the connector implentation for sap systems (SAPCFConnector.rar). You can find the configuration in Visual Admin -> server -> services -> Eisconnector (6.20) or Connector Container (6.40).

    Regards, Karsten
