AR Calculation of Interest on Arrears Noted Item Creation

Hello Experts,

At the time of Interest calculation on Customer open items , only noted item with special GL needs to be created instead of posting to customer account

Kindly let us know is there a way in SAP.

Please make the settings accordingly for Business transaction 1000 in OBV1

Here you need to mention posting key and special gl indicator.

Hi,

In Business transaction 1000 we tried customizing both posting key and special GL indicator .

But based on this, the posting is happening to customer account with special GL indicator but where as the requirement is only creation of noted item but not posting.

Have you activated noted items option to your SP GL indicator?

Also even if it is noted item, system has to post it to customer account.

But these transactions are only appear when you activate noted items option in FBL5N.

But system is expecting Dr & Posting key.

Hi:

I really doubt about the availability of this functionality in standard SAP. It is required to maintain GL account in OBV1 for interest on AR to be posted. No noted items generation is possible as you execute F.2B.
