UI API: Limit entry to type

Hi All,

I am new to the SDK and this is my first UI project. I would like to know if there's a way of specifying what type of field an edit is. In SBO if you type something in a date field it automatically formats it as a date, or if you type something in a currency field it automatically shows the field as a currency. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Adele

    Hello Adelle,

I definitely recommend you to stick to the documentation that you have in the SDK. There you will find all the information needed to clarify which objects are included and which properties you can use.

A very useful source of information is also the samples programs that are delivered in folder "SAP Business One SDK"-> Samples. Here you will find how to programm all the basic operations with objects in both APIs.

In the case you mention, take a look to Object “UserFieldsMD” property “Type” in the DI API help file.

    Best Regards,

    Felipe
