Leave Request WF not getting triggered

Hi Experts,

We are working on the leave request workflow.

We have copied WS12300111 and have used the copied WF WS98000001 for our use.

When we are raising a leave request from the portal, we are getting the following issue "You are not authorized agent of the task WS98000001".

When we reverted back to WS12300111, it worked.

We had just configured for annual leave(205R) WS98000001. All other leave types had WS12300111. When we did this, the WF was not triggered for the other leave types also.

Coluld you kindly guide us as to what the issue could be and what needs to be done.

Cheers,

Belinda Clarke

    Hi,

Check if theb Approval task is made general task. I guess since you copied the standard workflow the task will be general task only.

Make sure you make the copied workflow WS98000001 as General.

Hi if you do not know how to make the workflow WS98000001 as general. These are the steps to do it.

      1. go to SWDD enter your WF number WS98000001

      2. Click on Basic data (HAT icon at the top or do ctrl +F8)

      3. Now Goto -> Agent assignment for Task

      4. Click on attributes, Select General task click on transfer

      5. Save it and do update index.

This will surely solve your problem.

You might need to set WS98000001 as a general task. Yes, it is not a task but a workflow template, but still you might need to set as general task. Open the template in PFTC and set it "General task".

    Hi,

You need to assign your workflow as a general task. Go to PFTC -> look for Agent assignment in drop down menus. Assign it as " General Task".
