Impact of procurement type in cost run

Dear Expert,

I am facing a problem, We have some semifinsihed materials with procurement type X in the material master. Now while running the standard cost estimate of the materials ,We found that even while the BOM & ROUTING of some materials are not maintained for a particular plant(SAY P1) , it is not throwing any errors , but the in the same type of scenarios in a different plant(SAY P2) , we are getting errors which are due to non-maintenace of BOM & ROUTING. I have enquired the cases , and found that when there is X procurement type maintained in material masters , the system does not look for the bom & routing of the material while running the Standard cost estimate .But why this is throwing errors in other plant (P2), i cannot understand .Please advice me on this issue as i am facing a great deal of trouble .

Thanks ,

    Hi,

    Pl. check folowing points,

1.material type of the component into the particular plant,if it is ROH ,procurement type should be F,Also into Cosying 1 View,

tick on DO NOT COST & MATERIAL ORIGIN only.

2.if material type is semifinish/Halb, then procuremnt type should be E OR X,maintain tick on Qty structure & material origin,

DO NOT COST should be blank.

    Regards,

    Devendra
