Masthead par file issue

Hello,

We are facing one issue with masthead, one of our developer wrongly deployed incorrect masthead.Becuase of this masthead got corrupted, we are getting runtime errors.we have replaced original masthead , restarted portal, still problem exist, are we missing any thing?

    Hi,

    Can you tell what runtime errors are being thrown?

    Replacing the original masthead file (.bak file) from the following path should ideally do the trick.

    /usr/sap/ /J /j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/ sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root/web-inf/deployment/pcd/

    Can you try deploying the file again and check the logs during the deployment to get more hints.

    Hi,

    we are not able to upload masthead, we are getting following exception

    com.sapportals.portal.prt.core.broker.PortalComponentInstantiationException: Could not instantiate implementation class com.sapportals.portal.navigation.HeaderiView of Portal Component com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.default because: Could not find implementation class
