BWA in multiprovider

we have built all our queries on Multi provider. question: does it make sense to deploy BWA? As I know BWA7.0 is working for infocubes, build index by using TREX technology.

Pls advise and thanks

rajatina.

If the cubes whice are part of multiprovider, have a lot of data; it is advisable to have BWA for those cubes as it will help in improving the query performance (even if those are built on multiprovider).

BWA will improve the data fetch from cube and so query performance will be good.

    Hi,

Multiprovider is just a virtual structure which combines all your data coming from underlying providers. So when you use BWA and run a query based on multiprovider, BWA is used when your query is requesting data form underlying cubes.

So the data retrival will become very fast, once the data is retrived from all the sources, multiprovider combines that data and returns it to query.
