Hi,
What is the maximum length of a BPC Application name?
Thanks,
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
A BPC Application's length is driven by the character length that the underlying database tables in the BW System have. There are two key tables for BPC Applications that store these lengths:
1) UJA_APPL - The Application "Header" Table
2) UJA_APPLT - The Application "Header Table w/ Texts
The length for the APPLICATION ID is 20 characaters but the Description for a given Application can be up to 255 Characters based on the length of the column in the UJA_APPLT table.
Hopefully this answers your question to your satisfaction.
Cheers, Scott

Hi,
I think it will be 60 chars. In BW point of view application name will be considered as description of Infocube. So maximum chars allowed for description is 60.
Hope it helps..
regards,
Raju
