Phone integration into SAP Business One

Has anyone had any experience on how SBO integrates with phone systems? When you hover over the phone number in SAP, you can click and it will dial the number if its hooked up to a phone system.

Would be keen to know what the user experience is (i.e. how does it work), and what the technical requirements are and what kind of setup is involved...

    At the office we have an Avaya IPOffice phone system. After installing the TAPI drivers you can call from every window in SBO where a phone number is displayed. You dont need a modem installed in your PC

    It works fine.

      I have just reminded that one of our customers have a Avaya COM4Tel B4.1 software, which is based on the TAPI standar.

      Could you please tell us what you have done (configuration) in order to be able to call from SBO?

      Would be really helpful.
