Sales Order Data Uploading Method

Hi,

We are going to implement SAP BW for sales order & Contract related information. But sales order data in SAP can be changed as and when needed OR as per the customer request. And financial period closing will not stop me to change the sales order.

So, what is the best method of uploading the latest (updated) sales order information in BW. Please help.

    Rajiv,

    SAP provides a set of standard extractors to extract the sales order data into BW. Header level, Item level and Schedule line level. You just need to install and start using them. These extractors are delta enabled.

    No matter when you change a sales order, an entry is automatically entered in the delta queue to reflect the changes you made to your order. The procesure is smooth and easy and needs no customization.

    If you need detailed information on how to setup the extractors, which extractor to use, how to do the loading, system downtown requirements ...refer to the following sources for a head start.

    2. Help.sap.com >BW >Business Content, for details on the available datasources

    3. Refer to notes 602260, 436393, 437672 for step by step instructions...

    Rajiv,

    Go to transaction lbwe and go to component 11. Now these are the standard extractors for sales order.Use them and whenever you need latest data due a delta.
