collective entry of measuring documents

Dear experts,

I've created a measurement reading entry list in ik31 as follows

Entry list number : 1

contains 10 measuring points of different equipments.

For all the measuring points the respective obligatory field tick removed.

In IK34 to enter collective entry of measuring documents

My observations are

1.I've created a measuring document for the top most measuring point(single entry) leaving rest of the 9 measuring points

a document number say 100001 has generated.

2. when I do the same process as mentioned above a document generated with number 100011.

100011- 100001 = 10 which is the count of measuring points in the list

My question is the second time when I create a measuring document the document number should be 100002 in place of 100011.

Is it the standard behavior of sap or am i missing in the config settings of number range???

Thanks in advance

SAI

Add to the above mentioned things, I would request you to check the following;

Create a measuring document with IK11 i.e. single entry. Do it for 2-3 times, if the numbers are in sequence, you are not having issue with the buffer.

In measuring documents, we have this issue of loosing unsaved numbers. For e.g. if you type IK11, give measuring point and press 'enter'. Now note down the measurement document number appearing on the top, now don't save this, exit without saving. Follow the same process again, you will see a number skipped even though you didn't save it last time.

If the first attempt of saving in sequence is happening, when you are working with measurement entry list of 10, you are entering only one, SAP is skipping all the 9 and so you are getting 11th the next time.

It must be the buffer.Check the buffer in SNRO with object.

Hello Mr. Iqbal

In SNRO the buffer related settings are as follows

under customizing specifications:

main memory buffering: checked

NO. of numbers in buffer : 25

Please let me know what changes need to be made here???

Thanks,

Also try out to reduce the buffer to 5.(not advisable but can be checked in test server)
