Check Boxes on Variables in WAD

Dear Friends,

We are in the process of creating the dashboards for the user in WAD. We have one of the requirement as follows.

1.Checkboxes are to be provided for all the variables created in the Query Designer.

2.If query has 5 variables, user should have provision of selecting only 2 of the variables and executes the report.

Is it possible to achieve the above requirement using WAD. If so, please guide me how to achieve.

Thanks & Regards,

Dinakar

    Hello Dinakar,

You can use the Web item Check box for this and link it with only relevant variables , But the master data should be very small for check box type of variable inputs eg : company code , plant ,sale org etc .

Also check the properties of the web template where you can suppress some variables to be seen

    Thanks

Thanks Sunny and VSK for the replies.

My requirement is I need to provide all the variables with check boxes in the initial screen for the user. It should facilitate him to select the desired checkboxes. Once he selects and provide values, the outpout should display the data based on the given selection.

I tried using the Button group and Check box web items. But these web items are affecting directly on the output data.I need to provide the selection on variables not on the data.

      Thanks & Regards,

      Dinakar
