Hi,
I have double checked for this, all parametersr present yet it throws the sameerror.. unable to open page
when I click on the comm channel monitoring button it goes to URL
http://hostname:port/mdt/channelmonitorservlet instead of http://FQDN:port/mdt/channelmonitorservlet
Hi,
Please try applying note:
#804124 HTTP communication with XI Adapter Engine fails
Please ensure that the parameters below are configured correctly in the NWA service "XPI Service: CPA Cache" (7.1)
or in the Visual Administrator:
SLD.selfregistration.hostName
SLD.selfregistration.httpPort
Also please see note below for a similar issue occurring after a system copy:
#1592272 PI: Incorrect Communication Channel Monitoring URL in RWB after System Copy

HI,
You can maintain the entry in the host file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) for your host which is calling in Communication channel monitoring.
or check in NWA, for the http destination from NWA->Configuration Management->Infrastructure->Destination, whether you have maintained the FQDN for the http destinations.

Hi Ravindra,
Open the Exchange Profile and change all parameters that ends in *.name to FQDN, and don't forget to restart the system to activate the changes.
For more information about the FQHN, check the notes below:
#773830 - FQHN determination in ICM
#654982 - URL requirements due to Internet standards
Also ensure to apply the FQHN as per instructions on the note below:
#804124 - HTTP communication with XI Adapter Engine fails
And check for the parameter 'com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.sld.name' from note:
#1278563 - Specification of message server host in Exchange Profile
And if you have a High Availability system, also apply note (according to your release):
#1052984 - Process Integration 7.1 - High Availability
#951910 - NW2004s High Availability Usage Type PI
#988383 - NW04 High Availability Usage Type PI

Hi,
Do you've any DNS suffixes in your URL?like hostname.xyz.abc etc. If so, then you need to add that DNS suffix in advanced tcp/ip settings. In your system go to local area connection properties...select internaet protocol version(TCP/IPv4) properties...click on advanced button....go to DNS tab and add yor DNS suffix.
Previously I've faced the same problem...I've added the DNS suffix then I was able to open the communication channel in RWB. Try this it may help you.
Thanks & Regards
Priyanka
