New product types 04M, 04X and 04Y - EHP4

Hi All

I have a question on EHP4. My client was upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 with EHP 4. The Treasury components were never activated in any of these systems.

We have activated the Treasury components now. But, interestingly, we could not see the product types 04M, 04X and 04Y. Could you please let me know whether we need to apply any OSS notes?

Please suggest.

Hi -

You have to get these from client 000 in your DEV system.

In SPRO for client 010, follow the path Financial Supply Chain Management>Treasury and Risk Management>Transaction Manager>Securities>Master Data>Product Types>Define Product Types. Then use the menu path Utilities>Adjustment. You will need to pick a R/3 Connection such as DEVCLNT010 and then you promoted to log in to client 000. Your security group will need to setup you up in this client ahead of time to do this as access is not standard. You will get a popup window letting you know if a comparison is possible.

Status Comparison possible

At least one read only field excluded from comparison

Structure comparison (Reduced) structure is identical

If yes, click the green check. The product types that you do not have should be highlighted in green (according to my legend). Check the ones you want, follow the path Edit>Adjust> choose Entry or All if you have selected more than one. Click the Back icon and click yes to copy.
