    Hi Sahasra,

To reply to your question, it depends if this new field will be populated in the source system going forward (will come in the delta), or has it already been in use (Full load).

Seems like you are new to BW and it would help you to read the basic concepts at help.sap.com, or search through the forums to get good details on Full and Delta loads.

    Hope this helps...

    Hi Sanhasra,

    It depends on your requirement.

Do you need historical data for this newly added field?

Is this new field has data in R3 system?

for basis about info package you can go through the below link

    Hi,

Pl check with business whether they want the data from begining I mean historical data or not?

Else there is no need to make any changes as your delta package would be already running. If you need historical data for new field pl delete all the data from cube and DSO and reload again. If not keep on running the existing delta package and you will get data from that day onwards.

    Thanks and regards

    Kiran

    Hi,

If you are using BI 7.0 then you can use Remodelling tool to populate historical data for new fields. But if you are on BW 3.5 and need historical data then you will have to delete existing data from cube and then do a full load.

In both the cases your delta will fetch value for new fields from next extraction.

    Regards,

    Durgesh.

    Hi,

If you want this field to be populated for historical data then do a full load. In case the field needs to be populated for new data only (i.e. going forward only) then do a delta loads.

You can clarify from business what they require and then take the required action

    Regards
