Hi All,
I have discovered a strange issue in SAP. In the past some colleagues created a return of a "free on loan order". This resulted in a movement type 951 and apparently this movement type creates an inventory value without real physical inventory stock.
In transaction MB5L for company codeXXXX for material XXXX there is still value in the G/L account XXXX allthough there is no stock anymore (checked in MMBE)
I am afraid there are many more case like this and I hope you can find a solution to get the value of these items out of the G/L accounts.
Many thanks in advance!!
Hi,
After doing the steps to rectify the issue as above mentioned, still there is inventory value without physical stock, best option to follow is physical inventory. Do physical inventory and nullify the stock. Steps for PI are create PI document, enter count, and post the difference. I hope this will work. Thanking you.

I think 951 movement is not a SAP standard movement.
further the movement type itself does not decide alone whether stock/stock value is created or not.
This is usually controlled from material type attributes (OMS2)
MB5L cannot be trusted if you call it by material number, you should have received a warning message about that.
Better execute it without material number, then search for the material in the list to get a reliable number.
