Short dump when making attribute navigational

Hello!

I'm getting a short dump when I convert an attribute from disply to navigational.

I found a couple of OSS notes but they apply to BW 7.3 We have 7.0

Has any one had this issue? If so, what did you do to solve it.

An exception occurred that was not caught.

What happened?

The exception 'CX_RS_INPUT_INVALID' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere

along

the call hierarchy.

Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not

adequately responded to, the running ABAP program

'CL_RSD_IOBJ===================CP' has to be

terminated.

Error analysis

An exception occurred which is explained in detail below.

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_RS_INPUT_INVALID', was not caught

and

therefore caused a runtime error.

The reason for the exception is:

Inconsistent input parameter (parameter: I_IOBJNM, value <empty>)

How to correct the error

If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

find an interim solution in an SAP Note.

If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

keywords:

"UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION" "CX_RS_INPUT_INVALID"

"CL_RSD_IOBJ===================CP" or "CL_RSD_IOBJ===================CM00L"

"GET_INFO_CURRENT"

Hi

Check by mistake your info object which you had try to make navigational attribute has made the option "display attribute only"

Say you are trying to change the inf object B from display to navigational.

Open the B and check has the option "Display only" selected in general tab. If yes remove it and activate, now you can change this from display to navigational.

Check you have any data in your base info object or in atrubute

Object.some we can't change if we have data.
