Use Result of other column in new Formulacolumn

Hallo,

this is difficult to describe, so read carefully

  • column A shows revenue [per region] in total

  • column B shows the same keyfigure as A, but I am using "Calculate Single result as %"

  • Now I can see the revenue in total and in % [per region]

  • column C shows my costs in total

  • column 😧 formula: C * B

When calculating column D, column B is read. Tecnically column B is a total value, but using "Calculate Single result as %" it shows %. Unfortunately column D takes the total value of column B and not %.

What can I do to read the %-value in my formula instead of the total value?

Any hints are welcome,

Christian

Hi,

The option which you are usnig is only for display purpose it cant be used as referecne in other calcualtions.

Did u try making use of percentage functions available while making a new formula?

Also paste the O/P of your query so that i can understand what exactly you are trying to achieve.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

this was just an example. I am trying to read the result of "Calculate Single Result", which is not possible (what I learned by now). I know, that I could use a formula instead of "Calculate Single Result". The result of this formula can be used in other formulas - I know. Or are there other workarounds?

Rgds,

Christian
