Camp Type - Preventing Use of Old Ones

Hello Experts,

Is it possible to hide campaign types which are not using currently ?? We set prefix DO NOT USE for campaign types which are not suppose to use , but users are selecting these as well by mistake .

Dear Praneeth,

Yes you can make the campaign types as either visible or invisible either using :

-> An Authorization object (or)

-> writing a custom BADI implementation.

BADI Details:

You can write custom logic using BADI : "CRM_MKTPL_OL_OBJ".

Class definition : CL_DEF_CRM_MKTPL_OL_OBJ

Method : IF_EX_CRM_MKTPL_OL_OBJ~CHANGE_CTYPES_TARGET_MAPPING

Authorization object :

CRM_CPGCTP
