Purchase requesion during MRP instead of shedule lines only for all the re

Hello experts,

We have a material for which all the releavant master data like material master, quota, source list, valid schedule aggrement is already there & shedlule lines are getting generated but there is one purchase requisition also for this materail during MRP run.

I want to know why one Purchase requesion has been generated instead of shedule lines only for all the requirements.

What I need to check??

Hi,

check the creation indicators used in planning run.

Check if schedules lines in opening period was selected, in tha case outside opening period, PR will be created.

You need to check creation indicators at MRP group level then at plant level ... check both in customizing.

If not maintined at above, then check in intial screen of planning run.

Dear Abhidwd,

Is your query that the system is not creating any schedule lines for the materials even after maintaining correct master data?

Check in the source list whether have you set the value as 2 for the MRP relevancy for the material,plant combination in ME01.

Thanks for response.

Schedule lines are getting generated but along with shedule lines one Purchase requesion is also generated instead of shedule lines only for total requirement of the material.
