Com Add-In problem for XL Reporter

Dear All,

I am facing problem in running the XL reports from the TS server. The COM ADD-IN proble m throws up. I have followed the steps written in the SAP note and also tried to follow to add the XL reporter dll file from the Com Add-In option in excel. When try to add the XL reporter dll, it is not getting added means when i choose the file it is not getting checked

Can anyone help me in this regards.

Dear Gordon,

I do have the file in the XL reporter folder. In the TS environment should I have to run the file once logging in as Administrator or should I have to run the file with each user profile? Also when I right click on the file, the "run" option does not show.

Hi ,

If you installed your Sap in drive c.

then go here.

C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\XLR\XLReporter and look for "ComAddIn_per_User_RegKey"

double click this file and it will run into your registry.

this will solve your problem.

Hi Forum,

i have XL Report and Office 2010. i am getting an error when i want to refresh the data in exce.

I've done the "ComAddIn_per_User_RegKey" and i am still getting the error.

Works fine with Office 2003 (another laptop)... this is the message that i am getting

The Specified Module cannot be found

HR = 8007007e

any clues?

I had run the registry file. After that i open excel for installing the SAP Xl reporter add-in, But now there is no XL reporter add-in instead "iLytix Xl Reporter was there, even i tried to  install that by checking the tick and browsing the .dll file in Xl reporter folder, but its not connecting, again it got undicked

What do you mean by run the COM Add-In?? I have administrator rights.

Check if you have ComAddIn_per_User_RegKey.reg file. It need to be run for all new users.
