time wage types,time pairs,time types

Can any one pls explain me about Time wage types,Time types,Time pairs and where we use it?

Hi friends!

Time Pair is: the couple of time: example: time check in check out.

Time Type: you can configure in V_T555A, the important part when running PT60 ( Time Evaluation), u can calculate & retrieve info in Time Type.

Time Wage Type is wage Type, you can configure in V_512W_D. It will contain value of time type & bring them into Payroll schema & Payroll will use to calculate salary pay for employee.

You can see the schema in T-code PE01, & PCR in PE02. In this PCR, you can see a lot of Time Pair, time type & Time Wage Type. Try to study more & more, u will deeply understand them soon. As I know Payroll & Time Schema are the most difficulties in HCM, so just try days by days.

As Brad said, go through googe and get some idea and again if you are not understanding anything, ask that part only.

All these things are used/generated in time evaluation. You best option is to go through help.sap.com and read about them there. A quick google "sap time wage types" etc produces the hits you need.
