Hi,
Is there any way through which we can restrict PO display access (to user ) untill it is release completely. The requirement is ..no other user except procurement dept should be allowed to view PO which is not yet released completely. Once it is released completely, then it should be open for display to all.
Thanks,
Dinabandhu.
Hi,
In OMET give different PO doc. type, give new function authorization. For this give new field selection and select the staus of PO as unrelesed po. Assign this new functionation to EFB in SU01.By assigning this function authorization corresponding purchasing department, they can view unreleased POs. I hope it works. Thanking you

Hi Sangita,
Other business users (Production, Inventroy planning team) can refer the PO screen in SAP, send that in a mail to the supplier for delivery. (vide print screen, snag it like tools). So we have been told to restrict UNRELEASED PO display access to non-procurement dept. Once PO is released, it should be open for display to ALL.
Hope you got the requirement I having for the subject question.
Thanks
Dinabandhu.
Hi,
Why you want to restrict the PO display either it does not effect any way, but either it will help to intimate the higher authority to release the PO, if any critical business production stopgae of short fall of stock.it is needed.
If that is requried the most then you should directly restirct the authorization ME22N,ME23N,ME2LME2M etc
Better guide the shop floor person not intimate the suppliers untill the PO is release.
Hi,
This is not the case here. Procurement department wants to restrict other user for UNreleased PO, NOT for Released PO. If we remove access for ME23N, other users will not be able to view released PO.
As per Internal control, PO should be submitted to supplier by Procurement department only. It affect the orgamisation operation process if PO details is communicated to supplier. What if the PO is rejected by any approval authority which pending, and goods delivered by supplier with reference to unreleased PO ????? these are all the issue for which we want to restrict VIEW access to unreleased PO.
Thanks,
Dinabandhu.
