BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC

Hello,

I want to set the true quantity delivery automatically. I think to use the FM BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC. But, that does not work for me.

I set this data :

HEADER_DATA-DELIV_NUMB delivery number

HEADER_CONTROL-DELIV_NUMB delivery number

DELIVERY delivery number

ITEM_CONTROL-DELIV_NUMB delivery number

ITEM_CONTROL-DELIV_ITEM item of the delivery number

ITEM_CONTROL-CHG_DELQTY 'X'

ITEM_DATA-DELIV_NUMB delivery number

ITEM_DATA-DELIV_ITEM item of the delivery number

ITEM_DATA-DLV_QTY quantity I want to set

ITEM_DATA-FACT_UNIT_NOM factor 1

ITEM_DATA-FACT_UNIT_DENOM factor 1

ITEM_DATA-BATCH Batch

I have an error message VL 198.

When I debug I see, error is cause by the test 'if ls_quan_old-lfimg <> ls_quan_new-lfimg.'

Does anyone have already use this BAPI in this way ? Any suggest are welcome

Regards

Frédéric

I checked message VL 198 and I remember that we encounter that message if the quantity you're delivering is more than the quantity of stock you have in your inventory.

I'm not using that particular BAPI but I'm using SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING_1 to change the quantity, pick qty and even PGI. That's where I encounter the message.

    Hope that helps.

Did you get this working? I am sending the same data and am getting a message saying that my delivery is not picked. When I manually pick I am able to get it to post. I thought this bapi did both -- if not, how are you getting your deliveries picked?
