Multiple records for same selection in Cube

Hi,

I've two requests in a cube.One compressed and one uncompressed.

When I execute a query on the MP with this cube, i've two records for same key selection.for example with 0amount = 120,300.

But the expected result is 420 and a single record.

Why does it show two records.

Note: One record is from Compressed request and second from uncompressed request.

Hi,

When you execute any query Infocube will select data from both E table and F table. And it will show you aggregated data based on the characteristics in query drilldown.

Are you accumulating the attributes properly? Multiproviders tend to pick everything available in the cube and if you have not assigned the proper settings in a)query b)the cube itself - then it will show the two records individually.

If you want to accumulate, check the query settings- also see if you have some field which could be used to calculate the value- supposing debit/credit indicator- a SUM function on 0amount would automatically give you an accumulated value given the proper reference key.

Hi Madhuri,

In your KF definition, Agrregation should be SUM and Exception Aggregation should be Summation.
