Materials to be protected until cost estimate is succeeded

Dear Gurus

I want to protect the materials to be posted

until cost estimate is succeeded.

After cost estimate is succeeded, I want to

make this material to be able to be posted AUTOMATICALLY.

Is there any good way?

Easier way would be to handle with material statuses. Create two statuses using transaction OMS4 - for example

01 - Inactive and 02 - Active. In 01 set B against Inventory movement, purchasing, production sections and any other section that you think appropriate, except for 'Material cost estimate proc'. In 02 leave all the relevant sections blank.

Until you cost the material, use material status 01. When costing is completed change the status to 02.
