How to sum values in chart

I have the following data

Period Level Sales Value

1 A 2000

1 B 1200

1 C 2400

2 A 1400

2 B 1600

2 C 1800

Now when I create a chart to show the Sales Value for each Level it shows 6 columns. Is there any way by which the sales value can be summed for each Level and show 3 columns in the Chart. In this example A - 3400, B - 2800 and C - 4200

I don't want to write sumif or any other function because the data will be fetched at runtime from the database.

Thank you

You should do the aggregation on the database side.

Xcelsius charts does not summarize the data. You would have to either do it on the Database as said in the previous post or sum up in Excel using the functions.

    Thanks,
