EHP2 implementation on BI7

Hello all,

We are going to upgrade our BI 7 system to BI 7.02 i.e EHP2. Can you please let me know what steps need to be taken to avoid any issues with the current processes, objects, data flows , extractions etc. What are the preupgrade and post upgrade steps from BW perspective and what kind of testing needs to be done. Also , we are still on BW 3.5 for the front end. EP is 7.0. So do we need to migrate the queries and web templates in portal i.e does going for 7.02 support the queries in 3.5 version. Please let me know your valuable suggestions and thoughts.

In your case, before the upgrade.

Please, Check SAP note 1461962.

It will answer some of your questions.
