BW Upgrade System Copy

Hi ,

We have jst upgraded BW3,5 to BI7.3.

Upon checking from BW perspective, i notice that some datasources missing in Tcode RSA6.

When i checked in Tcode RSA5 (Business Content Installation) , the datasources is missing there too.

1.Does that mean Basis did not perform complete copy of the system?

2.Now that its missing, do we actually need to take another copy of 3.5 and upgrade it again?

Can you share any other issues that you faced after 7.3 upgrade?

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the note. Its relates more to symptoms where by datasource exist but with other problems.

My issue is , the datasource in RSA5(Business Content Installation) itself is missing. Not sure if it was cause during the technical upgrade. Anyway, through the note i could check on the Datasource PSA issues.I was not aware of this program.Thanks.

So far, main issue is the Multiprovider inConsistency due to compounding. The program check before the upgrade was ok. But after upgrade its showing errors. despite the feature 'tick compounding error as warning only' warning messages being shown during query execution.Still in fixing mode on this, not a easy one though.
