Result recording for inspection lot has problem

Hi Gurus,

We are using a custom transaction to record results, during recording results for summarized characteristics , characteristics is getting closed after valaution but in case of single result charcteristics it is just getting valauted but not closed.

For recording the results we are using following Bapi, BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS.

If any anybody know solution please let me know

Hello Kokila,

1. Kindly ensure by this BAPI, whether all the results for single results are getting recorded or not.

2. For example if you have record 5 readings and you recorded only 3, then system does not close it.

3. Verify through QA32 what is the effect when you try to record result manually? Whether it is closing both summarized and single results? If yes some inputs are missing in BAPI then.

4. If not check which sampling procedures you have assigned to these MICs in task list.

5. At plant level setting in customization under result recording tab > Recording configuration maintain X-All background functions.

Hi Anand,

In QA32 & QE51n results are getting closed for both summarized and single result charcateristics.

As well i have recorded values for all single and summarized result characteristics so point two mentioned by you is not problem.

Sampling procedure used has sampling type as fixed sample and valuation mode as attribute inspection non conform units

and configuration done for recording results at plant level is not X but it is close navigate and save automatically,Please let me know whether these parameter could be problem.

Result should be recorded as many as number of samples for a char .

Dear Kokila,

In the mentioned BAPI, there are different methods for Summarized and Single Results.

Data to be maintained in the relevant structures for Summarized and Single Results.Check the field for Valuation in the Structure.

It depends upon the valuation type in sampling procedure.
