How to cancel a depreciation run

Hello friends,

My client created fixed assets with a reducing balance type of depreciation. after the audit, they were asked to change the type to Straight line. they want now to redo the depreciation run but would like first to cancel the first run.

my question is? if they cancel the depreciation run, will they be able to run it again and post based on the new type? someone has done this before? plz help

The best solution is to restore your backup before your depreciation run.
