TREX Index for encrypted files

I had a post some time back about being able to Index documents which are encrypted in KM and we pursued option of implementing Python extension where in we implemented feature to substitute the content with original un encrypted file for the purpose of Indexing,

Outstanding issue for us is we are not sure how to Index the Properties associated to the KM Resource being indexed. Only the content got indexed. Does any one know what does TREX expect properties, would it be HTTP Header? what would be the syntax is it META Tags?

Any help on this is much appreciated, we are using EP 6 6.20 WAS

Hi,

TREX can be configuured to index HTML META tags. But you can also filter these to be KM properties. And KM will only show as properties what has been maintained as properties there - either manually or by filters.
