Issue with transporting web templates

Hi all,

We collected Report Agent settings in the RSA1 transport collector incl. web templates and transported them to Q system (status = yellow (some document activation was missing in RSODADMIN)).

The web templates are NOT visible in q-system, and even worse, the web templates can NOT be safed anymore with BEx-WAD tool (message: 'The object cannot be processed due to a transport problem') on D-system.

Questions:

Did anyone experience the same issue?

How is WAD and the transport mechanism linked?

How can transported web templates be edited and safed on D-system?

Any input appreciated!

    I don't know why they are not in q-system, but you should create a new BEX request on your D-system, log off from the WAD and logon again. This should solve the saving problem, afterwards you could try transporting again.

    Make sure that the webtemplate is not locked by unreleased transport.

      Hi Bhanu,

      Yes - we created a new BEX CTS....

      But in regards of the BW: LOIO and BW: PHIO Class.., the system created a REPAIR on threse objects what we moved to Q and re-imported the web templates and rep agent settings.

      The transports get RC4 with a message indicating that documents need to be activated in Q manually via TCode RSODADMIN. Therefore we would have to 'open' Q for customizing....is this the process to transport Web Templates - hard to believe! What is your experience here?
