Text Alignment - Justification Problem

Former Member

Hi All,

I am have a text filed in a report. I have set the alignment as justify.

If i run the report in crystal reports and export it into word, it is working fine.

But if I run the report through Viewer and export to word document , Alignment is lost. It is getting left aligned.

What can be the problem and how to fix it.

Please anybody help.

Thank you.

This looks like a viewer problem as it works fine from Crystal Reports. You don't say what viewer you are using.

Hi,

I am not sure you are checking for paragraph of data or single word.

Justify is normally used for a paragraph of data, when we need to maintain same width from border on both left and right margins, so that paragraph looks neat. Where as if the text needs to be centered, then "Align Center" option needs to be selected not "Justified".

If you can give us the complete information or screen shot of the data so that it can be more clarity.

Thanks

Hi ,

This is a migration project.

I am converting report from CR XI R2 to Crystal report 2008.

That is a paragraph only. And I need it to be justified not centered.

Thank you,
