Hi All,

I am running Netweaver PI 711 installation on Windows Server 2008. Database is Oracle.

Form this thread:

SEVERE: couldn't connect to DB

I see that the URL is corrected using configtool.

Sadly, configtool is not yet available in our system, and extracting configtool manually doesn't work. After putting all information, press connect, then "Program terminated unexpectedly"

Is there any way to trace what is the URL being used?

Any how to change the URL without using configtool?

I have tried change control.xml, change the url, and repeat step "Create Secure Store", but problem persists.

Please help.

Thanks

    Hi,

    This problem is solved by switching to Linux RHEL 5.7 operating system with the following installation media:

    istallation master = 51040434

    OCL = 51039412

    kernel = 51036476

    installation export = 51036706

    java comp = 51035979

    RDBMS = D51040507

    Virtually no problem found after switching to Linux OS.

    Thanks
