CRM 7.0 outlook 2003 integration


I'm a bit confused regarding the possibility to work with outlook in SAP CRM 7.0

Do I need the Client Based Groupware installed to be able to read email, manuelly transfer email to SAP CRM ( that creates transactions for email) and respond on email from CRM 7.0?

I do not need to synchronize tasks, appointments, and contacts between Microsoft Outlook and SAP CRM.

    No, you don't neew GWI component installed. You just have to set e-mail transfer. to do that go to Personalization>Groupware integration>Set Up e-mail transfer.
