Please guide what should we use Periodic Posting+Transfer in RERAPP

Hi,

Please guide me by when you should use Periodic Posting+Transfer option in T-Code:RERAPP in RE-FX process?

Also, as the real estate management will be having many objects like contract, rental object, etc...so by when the cost center settlement should be done aganist contract and rental object??

Please help me to understand in this regards.

Hi Shankar,

Real Estate objects are account assignment objects during postings.

Periodic Posting + Transfer is used when you want to transfer the amounts posted to different RE objects, according to predefined distribution rule. You could use it to transfer the costs from RE objects to Cost centers, but have in mind that the transfer document creates one extra FI document.

If you want to simply settle the costs from your rental objects, contracts, to cost centers, I would advise you to create a settlement structure, (transaction OKO6),a settlement profile (OKO7) and then to assign the settlement profile to the RE object that will be settled. You could find all relevant settings under:
