There is a step called "_Execution with Data Change in InfoProvider_" in the process of including event data change in a process chain.
How do we carryout this? should this be done in Bex or in process chain itself?
Dear eshwari,
Step "Execution with Data Change in InfoProvider" should be added to the data load process in Process chain.
you have to add the changed InfoProvider their for which information broadcasting has to be triggered.
After that while scheduling the broadcast setting , you have to mention that this will be executed whenever data changes in the InfoProvider.

Hi,
you need to setup this process type in process chain. the process type is Trigger Event Data Change (for Broadcaster) . provide the infoprovider name in the variant. once this is done, then in the broadcast setting go to scheduling option here you will get option as "Execution with data change in infoprovider". select this option to brodcast the report when there in change in the data provider i.e. once the loads are done and the trigger event data change step is execute in chain.

Dear Eshwari,
1) To get the 'Execution on data change' option, you need to have aprocess chain with the 'Event data
change' process type which contains 'the infoprovider' (The infoprovider, over which the query is created
which you are trying to broadcast) in the process variant of it.
2) Further more, additional authorization is also needed in order for the user to see such scheduling options in broadcaster.
Please assign this authorization object to the affected users.

Hi,
Please check whether the chain is scheduled. Even we were not getting this option until the chain was scheduled.
Once the chain was scheduled we logged in again (closed all previous session) to the broadcasting setting and then the option was available in scheduling option.
Also ensure that the all the required info provider are included in the variant.

Hi,
You will have to use this process in the process chain, based on this event query/WAD/Workbook broadcast will get triggered.

Durgesh.
